At Rock, Paper, Scissors, we believe the neighborhood is part of our classroom.  We use public transportation to access the local libraries, different neighborhood parks, and events for children.

During Covid, we paused our trips to parks, the library, and the use of public transit.  Now that we have an 100% vaccinated class, we are starting to venture back out into the neighborhood.  We strive to keep our school at 100% vaccination rate.

Mission Statement

Subtitle

The mission of Rock, Paper, Scissors Childcare is to provide a safe, enriching, and clean environment where children (2 to 5 years) can learn through play with the guidance of respectful caregivers.  Our goal is to foster partnerships with families that support healthy social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children.  To best support children, caregivers will work with families to create close relationships that embody trust, open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect.

Have you ever asked your child what they did that day at school? Was the response "I don't know" or "I played with my friends"? At Rock, Paper, Scissors, you will receive a daily email that contains pictures and descriptions of some things that occurred during the day.  This is a great conversation starter for talking about their day at school.
